Can You Book Multiple Gym Rooms at Once?

Private training room with a multi station rack, bench, and dumbbells

Yes. Each room is its own hourly booking, so you can reserve two or three private rooms for the same hour and run sessions in parallel. At FlexWerk in Carmel, that is how partners, small teams, and group organizers get past the honest per room limits: a Standard room holds 1 or 2 people, a Plus room holds up to 4, and bigger ambitions add rooms rather than bodies.

How parallel rooms work

Parallel booking is addition, not negotiation. Rooms reserve by the hour through the FlexWerk app, and nothing about the model restricts you to one room per hour; you book each room you need for the same time slot, subject to what the live calendar shows open. Every room arrives fully equipped and reset before the session: strength rooms with a lifting rack, cable system, and dumbbells, cardio rooms with HYDROW rowers, CLMBR machines, and curved treadmills, all with WiFi, music, a TV, and controllable lighting under each room’s own roof.

The capacity math, honestly

The per room ceilings are firm, so plan with real numbers:

  • Standard room: 150 sq ft, 1 or 2 people, 850+ supported exercises.
  • Plus room: 200 sq ft, up to 4 people, which is the maximum, 1,100+ supported exercises.
  • Two Plus rooms in parallel: up to 8 people across two focused sessions.
  • Three rooms: roughly a dozen people, split into pods that can actually train.

Notice what the math refuses to do: put 10 people in one room. That constraint is the product working as designed, because a coached pod of four gets real instruction while a crowd of ten gets supervision.

Who books parallel rooms

The pattern shows up wherever a group outgrows one door. Two trainers running simultaneous clients keep their sessions separate and professional, though pairs within one room have their own playbook in two trainers sharing a FlexSpace. Companies run team wellness hours in waves, covered in corporate fitness space in Carmel. Church groups and co-ops split into pods across rooms, covered in church fitness group rentals. In every case the economics stay hourly: strength rooms at $18 to $22 per hour and cardio from $12, multiplied only by the rooms you actually book.

Setting up a multi room hour

For a one time parallel booking, the app and the live calendar are all you need: find the hour, reserve each room, done. For recurring multi room blocks, company billing, or anything with moving parts, have one conversation first; call (888) 353-9975 and a host will set it up properly. Capacity planning is easiest at quieter hours, and the window is wide, Monday through Friday 5 AM to 9 PM and weekends 7 AM to 4 PM, at 885 Monon Green Blvd with garage parking a short walk away.

If your plans involve more people than one room holds, run the pilot version first: book two rooms for one hour, split the group, and let the format prove itself.

Related questions

How many people can we get in at once across rooms?

It depends on how many rooms are open that hour, so check the live calendar. Each Standard room holds 1 or 2 people and each Plus room holds up to 4, and the totals add room by room.

Is a multi room booking one reservation or several?

Treat each room as its own hourly reservation. For recurring multi room blocks or company arrangements, talk to a host so the setup matches what your group needs.

Could we just share one bigger room instead?

Only up to 4 people, which is the firm maximum for the largest room. Two professionals sharing one space works within that limit; beyond it, parallel rooms are the honest answer.
